LOL! You should see their papas!
Call and ask is your best bet.
I'm not for sure I don't think they do actually have a 3 drink minimum I know they don't for me but if you work there I don't think so.
Yes
Very fun place to go with friends or family. Bring a game or grab one of their games. Food was very good, my Hamburger will get ordered again. Large table in back was perfect for the two games we played. Staff was very nice and friendly. Prices were very fair and not expensive.
What a cool vibe here! Excellent beer selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Next time I've got to check out the food. Menu looks great.
This was our first visit, based on a Groupon purchase. We really enjoyed the food, beer , atmosphere and staff. Will definitely be going back!!
Awesome service. Original reason we went was for their incredible line-up of board games and video games, but we had to stop playing for a little while because the food was too delicious to stop eating it. Strongly suggest trying it out
Food was lackluster but service was very good. We ordered several deep dish pizzas and they were only okay. Prices are a bit high in my opinion. It is really fun to be able to play games while we were there with our friends though!
Incredible tap list and amazingly tasty food to boot, especially the burgers and the ribs!
Great drinks, not cheap, but you will still be able to pay rent if you keep it under 10. Thin crust pizza is excellent, atmosphere is cool. So do not come here if you are cheap and not cool, you will not fit in. Sorry
Great place to play board games. Great selection of beers and signature cocktails. The pot roast was delicious.
Hadn't been here in many years. Service ony most recent visit wasn't very good. Love the vibe of this place though with the dive bar feel and board games.
They added a full cocktail menu! Great neighborhood bar, good beer selection, good pub food, and great ambience. Really enjoy coming back to this place and all the games to play are a cool touch. It would be a great date spot.....or day drinking spot.
Fun place with a decent assortment of games for the family. Great beer selection! Had an amazing aged in a cask beer while others enjoyed their ciders. I didn't order food but those in my group who did all had great things to say.
Retro and laid back pub. The burgers are fresh and flavorful. It reminds me of a hippy, cool basement style bar!
Nice neighborhood bar but lacking in management.
Am amazing little restaurant and bar. Burger was cooked perfectly and the staff is very attentive. Come for the food and stay for the games. It's a wonderful place for 2 people or a group of friends!
Wow I did not know what to expect when going to this place but I was absolutely blown away by how incredible it was. It's a super cute hole in the wall kind of feel, with extremely welcoming staff, great music, and a lot of old school video games. It can be crowded at times, but the atmosphere makes it a great hangout spot.nonetheless. Highly highly recommend
Really liked the vibe of this place, the decor is unique and different. Service was great! The deep dish pizza is okay but I would definitely order something else if I return.
The food and service is good. The decor could use an update and a cleaning.
Huge selection of games. But I go for food not the games. Glorious mac and cheese. Fabulous pizza. Excellent beers.
Great place for a first (or 100th) date. Excellent tap list and they are now offering full bar service as well. These board games are an excellent way to break the ice on a first date! Old school video game systems in the back room too.
I absolutely love this place. It's got to be one of the top five places that I like to go and enjoy the food the beer the camaraderie is first class every time.
Quite a nice experience!Bartender Victoria has brought a new , refreshing attitude. Very friendly, neighborhood bar. Nice service from Steven.Wide variety of domestic and different micro beers.Warm and friendly environment.
Best fried in town. Friendly staff.Just has that busy neighborhood bar feel.
I loved their fish tacos. They were unique. Single ply delicate crisp corn tortilla shells with chopped whitefish and flavorings. Not huge in size but definitely huge in flavor. They had a bit of a zing. I don't like spicy food, but I do like spiced food. The zing in these was one of a myriad of flavors. The side dish was a salad. I appreciated that. It went well with the tacos. I'll be back!
The history of this place is amazing. The bartender Mathieu is a total rockstar and the owner Steve is one of the nicest people you will need. You have to try the pot roast, mac & cheese, lobster bisque, and the lobster grilled cheese sandwich. They have craft cocktails made from multiple kinds of rum and infused liquor. If you are in Minneapolis, it should be number one on your list of places to see.
I've always loved the Chatterbox. Back in my younger days I had a blast hanging out here on the weekends, going in the side room and sinking into a couch to play classic Atari video games. These days, I love it for the food and drink. I took some out of town guests here recently and they were blown away by the food. We played a board game from their selection at the bar, too. A great place to hang out!
Friendly staff great beer. Large selection of board games and Nintendo available.
I'd give them five stars if they had hard alcohol but only wine and beer on tap. That being said the wine cocktails are phenomenal. I love the french kiss. Food can be a little inconsistent but the pizza is good.
Divey, but in the way you want. Friendly staff, open mic nights, and affordable beer. Snacks also available.
Owner and management care about the place. Nice, friendly environment. Great food, drinks, beer, and servers. Thank you for serving with care to customers over the years. Glad we stoped in today and WILL be back.
$4 PBR's and awesome service.
Love the ambience (where did they get all those Nintendo Power mags?) and the board games and NES are super fun. Wish they served hard alcohol but that's my only complaint.
The pizza and kombucha are really good. Our servers were very friendly and attentive. I'm planning on going back!
Super friendly people working here. It was nice to get a smile and a genuine welcome from a fully formed person working thier job for a change. Nice local place.
Chatterbox claims to be one of the first bars in Minneapolis, and the first craft beer bar. With their impressive tap list, it's easy to believe. Not only is their beer list remarkable, but the food is outstanding too. Aside from the food, the drink, the comfortable atmosphere, and the entertainment (for example: live music , classic video games, and a wall of well kept board games) the best thing about this place is without a doubt the friendly and helpful employees. It's rare to find a place that cares so much about their customers. I cannot recommend this place highly enough; it's really worth driving across the city for.
Feels like the old neighborhood vibe again. Great service and will be getting cocktails soon, since they have a liquor license now.
We went for open mic and it was great. Good and good fries. But the services from Victoria was fantastic.
One of my favorite places. Plenty of board games or older console games that you can rent out and spend a good amount of time with while enjoying a meal. They have a good selection of beers and the food is also good as well!
This is a cool spot. The food is good, the drinks are better. Atmosphere and service was very good. Lots of games and cozy spots tho hang out for a long evening, even an old NES to play with. Can't wait for warm weather and the patio
Old school video games. Awesome beer selection! Owner was super friendly
Comfortable atmosphere! Old school gaming systems! Board games! Fun for all ages!! Bring the kids! They have Duck Hunt and Chutes and Ladders!
This is a great place if you want to play a few board games, have a few beers, and meet up with friends for a chill evening. Drinks and food is also reasonably priced. The staff was also friendly. It's worth checking out at least once.
Hard to provide a full review since I was there at a very quiet time in the afternoon, but the server did a great job and the appetizer I had was delicious. I'll be back and then maybe I can flesh this out a little, but for now my impression was positive.
